We recently threw a baby shower for some of our great friends. We wanted a way to make them feel special, loved, and celebrated. For previous baby showers where I’ve been a host, I’ve always done “Prayers for Baby” cards, where shower guests fill out a sheet that includes their prayers, wishes, and hopes for the sweet baby.
As we’ve been focusing on intentional and simple living, I wanted a way to make this sweet shower activity something that would be a treasured keepsake instead of loose papers, potentially forgotten or lost. We found the perfect simple scrapbook to hold all the guests’ Prayers for Baby that we gifted the mama-to-be. The scrapbook will remind her of more than just the gifts that will adorn her home as she welcomes baby, but also the village of people who will pray for her little one.
We posted the instructions in front of the setup that gave instructions to fill out the sheet, post the sheet inside the scrapbook, and sign or leave a note on the page with the markers that came with the scrapbook.
Note: If you use this scrapbook, you’ll want to print the Prayers for Baby cards 4 per page on letter-sized paper.
