This pursuit and website, in many ways, is an alternative story for us, meaning something less comfortable and more true to who we are. We’ve approached this endeavor as an invitation to step into the unknown, trust God, and pursue His will for us and our family story. Our hope and prayer is that our family’s story will be fully authentic, one of wholehearted pursuit, and allow us the freedom to be ourselves, not to feel trapped in a small story or one that feels prescribed to us by the world.

What brought us here was a desire to live in line with our values and vision for life. Have you ever felt like what you do on a daily basis is dissonant to your true self and core values? For so long, we struggled to make this our reality: living, on a daily basis, in line with our vision and values.

In other words, we battled for years to have what we value in life and what our vision is for our family and individual stories to be aligned with how we spent our days, weeks, and months. Life doesn’t always have to feel like a constant to-do list, nor do you have to feel like your habits and daily life are out of alignment with your values.

So here we are. Stepping into something new. Stepping into something that feels scary, but also something that we feel so called to that the discomfort of doing it is overcome by the discomfort of not.
